We had our Halloween event yesterday and we were very busy, as always, with over 300 visitors, almost half of them children, many in special, spooky costumes.
As well as storytelling and the witch’s potion trail there were plenty of lanterns made, ready for Halloween itself. Delicious cakes and warming drinks were also on offer.
We raised just over £290 on the day. This was our final outdoor event of the year so a big thank you to everyone who worked so hard to help during the day and to those who donated the ever popular baking and preserves to sell – we could not do it without you!
