After a winter of lockdown, when so many people have missed out on so many things, we are pleased to say that we are open, not as normal but at least we are back.
For the first few days we are open solely for exercise, but from the 8th March 2021 we are open for recreation as well as just exercise and you can socialise with one person who isn’t part of your household or bubble. We have had to change the way we receive visitors and you can find out more on about that on our Home page and our Visit Us page.
Unfortunately we were not able to open for the Snowdrop Sunday, which so many visitors enjoy. However, the recent cold weather has held the spring flowers back a little, as these photos from Christine Clarke and Pam Rayment show. They were taken on the 28th of February, so if you are quick (but always bearing in mind the current restrictions) you should still be able to see them.
We will be open from 10 – 4 Wednesday to Sunday and also on Bank Holiday Mondays and we look forward very much to welcoming you back.
We are hopeful that the restrictions will ease as the year progresses, but at the moment we don’t have any events planned. Once we do, we will let you know, both here and through our Facebook and Twitter accounts.
For the foreseeable future you will still have to use track and trace on entering the Priory grounds, either by using the NHS app or by leaving names and numbers with us, but we hope to make this as painless as possible.
